About us

It all started when…

Stella was started by Michael Lair and his parents Pete and Phyllis. We opened our doors on July 28th, 2018 and we were welcomed by Aggieland with open arms. Stella isn’t here to sell biscuits. We are here to serve this community.  We want to be the place that fosters moments that turn into memories and shared meals that turn into lasting friendships. Our core principles are pretty simple but they direct everything we do –

Love people – everybody that walks in our doors provides us with a chance to be the best part of their day       

Get the best ingredients possible and don’t screw them up – We source locally when possible and always seek out the best ingredients and look for ways to let those ingredients shine.

Be Better Everyday – However good we were yesterday we want to be even better today. Our goal is to provide a work environment where everyone is learning all the time, growing all the time and becoming better prepared for whatever life has in store for them next.

Food is a powerful thing. So much of our lives and so many of our memories center around the table. Stella exists to be that place, to provide that food that brings people together. Sure, we want to be the best breakfast you’ve ever had and we’re gonna work our butts off towards that end but, more than that, we want to be the backdrop to great stories, the excuse you use to get together with friends, or that special spot for your daddy daughter breakfast.
